My destiny p. 52 Geneviève Peultier By Valérie Duchâteau-This pleasant piece in arpeggios follows a harmonic progression based on a descending chromatic bass movement. The main key of C major is disrupted by a few "accidents", notably a B flat and a C sharp (borrowed from the key of D minor). Technically, the left hand performs a succession of chords while the right hand executes the pimami / pamim formula. If the first part of the arpeggio is quite simple, the difficulty lies more in the "thumb-ring finger" passage, often a source of tension.
