Andantino-Joseph Küffner (1776-1856) By Estelle Bertrand In A minor, this pleasant duet is in AABB form. Guitar 1 plays the melodic role while guitar 2 is responsible for laying down the harmonies based on a well-known arpeggio formula: pimia-im-i. Concerning the left hand, think in chords and play the notes pinched all along with a light pressure on the ring finger. The melody is played in first position, except for measures 9 and 10 where an incursion into fifth position is proposed.
